Professional, personable and a well run clinic
Dr. Mahan and his staff were amazing. I met with several surgeon before having my operation and felt most comfortable with his knowledge, experience and ability. I had a herniated disc and had to have a portion of the disc removed through a process called discectomy ( I believe). The surgery went great. No pain. No scarring. I have referred several people his way and will continue to do so.
Dr. Mahan is personable, engaging, willing to explain things in understandable terms (layman lingo). He instills confidence in his communication and explanations. My arm (dominant) works because of him. Thank you so much doc!
It's been two days since Dr Mahan did surgery on my back and it been 30 years since I've been able my back didn't hurt but I can tell I'm already better, there are some things that I didn't care for like never meeting the doctor until the day of surgery, and after care is coming up short, Tylenol isn't getting the job done I'm hurting pretty good from what he did to me but the pain he went after is gone, well this is where the story goes down hill, the disc failed and blew out to my left side causing me more back pain than I... read more
When a specific surgery was suggested, I asked Dr. Mahan if he were in my place would he have the surgery performed on himself and he said yes. That gives me a lot more confidence in my decision to have Dr. Mahan be my surgeon. When we had our virtual interview he was very clear and descriptive showing us on the MRI where the problem areas were and answered all of my/our questions.
