Extremely competent surgeon with great patient rapport and an easygoing, friendly manner that ease your fears before potentially frightening procedures. His office schedules appointments and answers all of my questions in a very prompt manner. I have had both knees and one hip replaced by this doctor, and I pray that he is still practicing when it is time to replace my other hip! He has definitely improved my quality of life after years of very painful osteoarthritis.
My family and I have been going to Dr. Hontas for almost 30 years and we love him! He has done surgery on both my knees and my husband's shoulder, along with treating a number of other breaks that my children and I have experienced over the years. He is always in a good mood and joking with us all the time. I have never seen him in a bad mood!
Had virtually NO wait time to see Dr. Mark Hontas. He reviewed my MRI and other reports, asked his nurse to do an X-Ray of my hips, I was led back to the room in which I started out. The doctor IMMEDIATELY came in to review my results. I was SO PLEASED to hear that my 6 months of pain could be relieved by only a couple of Cortisone shots. Waiting room spacious, nice magazines (doctor even GAVE me one that I was interested in!) Certainly would recommend this physician to anyone!
