I was very comfortable and confident from the start with Dr. Hodgson. He is extremely thorough and does not ever rush through a visit. He explains everything very well and has provided drawings to better explain things that were going on with my hand and thumb. Staff is always helpful and kind and I have never waited very long at a appointment. I did end up requiring surgery and it was a very good experience. Currently still in rehab but so far so good and I already have improvement. I know I will require some of the same pr... read more
Had my accident in May, 2019, had surgery and rehab. Dr. Hodgson was kind, patient and understanding. He treated me as a person, not just a patient. He explained everything he was going to do before and later re-explained things I didn't "catch" initially. His office staff and hospital staff were all extremely polite and caring. Would easily recommend Dr. Hodgson to family or friends.
I had surgery for Dupuytren's contracture. Dr. Hodgson was kind, respectful, extremely knowledgeable and did an amazing job with my surgery. I would absolutely recommend him. My entire experience from consultation through post-op was entirely positive. The surgical staff, office staff, and physical therapy staff were all excellent!
Excellent Bedside manner. Never rushes you during appointments. Highly recommend!
I highly recommend Dr. Hodgson! He is extremely skilled, intelligent, friendly, and he genuinely cares about his patients. For over ten years I have trusted Dr. Hodgson for upper extremity treatments, including trigger finger, shoulder repairs, cubital and carpal tunnel repairs on each arm, etc. Today I can enjoy the things I had previously given up because of pain - things like tennis, snorkeling, throwing a ball, and even typing on the computer. He is a surgeon you can trust!
Hi, my name is Krist A. Reed I am presently a patient of Dr. Hodgsons. I decided on Dr. Hodgsons simply because of his knowledge of hand surgery as well as, his approach to how my surgery was to be done. I also found his team, Gretchen, Mary, Judy, Tamryn, and Sam too be very professional as well as, funny.. Overall, I am going to recommend this wonderful team at Hand surgery Ltd. to as many friends and family I can talk to.
He worst dr used harsh word for my disability and did nothing for pain and left hang 2 month chronic pain
Business response:
We are sorry that you are experiencing chronic pain. Pain medication is prescribed for a brief period following surgery and it does not sound like you are a surgical candidate. I would encourage you to talk with your primary care physician to discuss options for chronic pain management. There is no need to suffer when help is available.
Best hand and wrist surgeon ever. Did my homework before going to him and he has succeeded my expectations. His surgery skills are phenomena. He moved tendons and nerves to help my hand and I have no nerve damage whatsoever. He is also a great communicator when in the office and explains things so you understand. If I don't understand the medical or technical terminology, I just ask and he makes it easier for a lay man, or woman, to see and understand. You won't be disappointed.
