I have had several surgeries on my left ankle & foot. Dr. Dalton is my third doctor to do surgery on my ankle & will be the last one. He does go out of the box to try something if nothing has worked in surgeries from previous doctors. He is very caring & wants everything to be right for you. I always am taken back within 10 minutes of my appointment & am greeted with pleasant personnel. Everyone is very caring & sweet. Fantastic surgeon - he was highly recommended by several other orthopedic surgeons as their 'go to guy' for foot and ankle surgery. His work on my ankle has enabled me to avoid a total replacement for 3 years, and still no pain. If it becomes necessary in the future, I would have him do the ankle replacement with no hesitation at all. His office staff is efficient and professional.
Dr. Dalton is a pompous guy who so mangled my ankle in two surgeries that I am now trying desperately to find another doctor to fix it.. He has no compassion for you after surgery, will not do the appropriate follow up tests to figure out what is wrong, and actually mocked me when I was asking him questions about what could be the problem. His staff lies for him and is totally unprofessional. On my very last visit with him he had 4 other patients scheduled for 8 AM (the time for my appointment as well). Dr. Mark Dalton is a boot wearing, foot and ankle specialist that does great work putting Texans back together again. I broke my ankle in three places, requiring surgery, with plates and screws to fix it. After Dr. Dalton accomplished this and sent me to rehab, I was up and running in no time.
