I have a 29 year old son who is seeing Dr. englestadt for some addiction problems and every time he visits him he is drugged up for the next few weeks, i know he is being prescribed stuff that an addict shouldnt be getting from a doctor

Dr. Engelstad excels in both his knowledge of medical science and his compassion toward his patients. I have been a patient for more than five years. He has been a source of tremendous support and guidance in my medical care. I am very thankful to have been referred to him.
Dr. Engelstad has always been great. He listens to me and shows that he really cares. Dr. Engelstad has many specialist in the same practice to make it easy to get the services you need.
Dr. Engelstad is very intelligent and technically competent. But he and his patients would benefit greatly if Dr. Engelstad improved his interactions with patients. I always had to wait at least an hour past my appointment start time before Dr. Engelstad would show up. He talked down to me and used language designed to minimize my medical problems. He was argumentative, dismissive, condescending, and patronizing.
I am new to town. I was excited when setting up the appointment as it has good reviews and is close to home. I requested Dr. Engelstad when setting up appointment. I later found out the appointment was given to a PA. Day of the appointment I accidentally went to an RMPC further down 92nd. Called to let them know I would be a few minutes late to my 20 min early check-in time and receptionist said that is okay. Doctor Mark has been my doctor for 15 years now. I went into his office with problems of overall body aches. He diagnosed it as Polymyalgia Rheumatica. He referred me to Rheumatologist who confirmed that was my medical issue. Dr. Mark has been very thorough with his physical checks and very thoughtful of my condition as well as my overall health. GREAT DOCTOR!
