Dr. Braunstein gets bad reviews because he isn’t as personable as some people want. But when it comes to doing the job, I couldn’t be happier. He successfully repaired my Scapholunate ruptured tendon. I had little to no pain and my recover has gone better than expected (5 months into a 6 month recovery plan). As long as he is good at his job as a surgeon, I don’t need him to be the happiest guy in the office.
Friendly, yet professional. Informative and told it like it was! And boy did the injection hurt!!! He was also soft on the eyes !😉
Dr Braunstein is a gem. He treats you as a complete person not just the “ broken finger” or trigger finger you are having him treat.I came in tears since I broke my left ring finger and have trigger fingers in my right hand, I was so upset. My husband and I were thrilled with Dr Braunsteins demeanor, we both left feeling relieved and hopeful. My experience at the East office of Dr. Braunstein was very good. I actually saw his PA and she was very professional and knowledgeable. I was impressed with their compassion and timely responses to my needs.
I had a fantastic experience with TOI and Dr Braunstein. Originally my primary referred me to another specialist at another facility for treatment of trigger thumb where I was given a couple of cortisone shots over a 6 month period. When that didn’t work I was given a procedure and timeline for surgery. My gut told me to get a second opinion. I am glad I did!
