My father had had a severe nose bleed for 15 hours and another hospital sent him to Baptist because Dr. Milburn was on call. Dr. Milburn refused to come in and see him. He was sent home with a packed nose and blood backing up down his throat and coming out the other nostril. He was unable to rest and the bleeding eventually slowed down after 24 hours. He threw up blood all night. I would not recommend him, he obviously had better things to do than to come to the hospital,
I just had an adult Coblation Tonsillectomy performed by Dr. Milburn. My experience with the surgery and recovery was surprisingly easy! My regret is only that I waited so long to do it because of all of the horror stories I read about adult tonsillectomies.
