I had back surgery performed by one doctor but when I had my post op appt. for some reason, they put me with Marie Walker who wasn't really all that familiar with my case, didn't listen to a word I said, and then she was out of the exam room in less than 10 minutes. I was still in a lot of pain and had a lot of questions I wanted to be answered but that didn't happen and they wouldn't reschedule me with the surgeon because "he's a surgeon and Walker is the follow-up doctor" I was told. I have been to Dr. Walker twice with my aging father. She has been very patient, kind and thorough with my Dad. She takes time to explain all options and possibilities and listens to his concerns. I would recommend her.
Visited Dr. Walker for the first time. have had problems with back, shoulder and arm for 6 months. She and her staff were very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions.They were very courteous and didn't talk down to me.I am hopeful that my problems will be diagnosed soon and am looking forward to working with Dr. Walker to get there.
After over 2 years of excruciating pain in leg after a hip replacement-and 2 months of same in right arm-she was only dr to really look into problem-mris/emg testing--she found problems and directed care-other drs said don't know and didn't look--bless her and assistant Cindy--sooo very good-hoping to be on path to wellness soon thanks to her and her assistant-always compasionate and understanding-
(Note: In addition to Medicare, insurance is with with Blue Cross, Blue Shield.) My first visit with Dr. Walker exceeded my expectations. She was very personable and took the time to listen to my issues, fully explain her diagnosis, take care of my immediate complaint, and then recommend a clear plan for improving my condition. Very professional and easy to interact. Listen to my problem and presented an action plan for treatment.
Dr. Walker is a very good doctor and has helped me more then anyone else with my medical problem. Her assistant Cindy has also been very helpful with my problem. I would refer anyone to them.
My visit here was very good. It was easy, relaxing and I was able to feel free to ask questions and they were answered to my satisfaction. I will recommend Dr Walker to others I feel would benefit from her expertise.
