Horrible doctor. No bed side manners. Treated my daughter and myself as though we were third class citizens. Did not explain anything inspite of asking him several times, to explain in layman's term. Just made my daughter feel miserable that she has a high power and can never get her vision improved. Dr's are supposed to encourage the patients and not discourage them. Spoilt the whole day and made us feel humiliated. Not sure if it was a racial bias but never felt humiliated like this ever before.
I've worked in healthcare for over 20 years and Dr. Meyer was one of the most disrespectful and rude providers I have come across. He did not complete a full exam, was condescending, did not answer my questions and was dismissive of the concerns that caused me to seek an eye exam. Would never return.

Dr. Meyer was wonderful. I would refer him without a doubt to anyone.
Dr Meyer provides great care. Have diabetes & Dr Meyer keeps on top making sure my eyes are protected. Board certified eye surgeon is important to me.
Very cold hearted doctor. He acts like you're bothering him when you ask eye health related questions. He's always in a rush. Not sure why I've been seeing him for 5 years but definitely looking around for a new eye doctor.
I don't need my surgeon to have a great bedside manner. What I require is great competence. Although Dr. Meyer does not present a warm presence and comes across a bit on the brusque side, I found him to be professional, polite, informative and an excellent surgeon. He removed cataracts on both eyes and the experience was as comforting as they could make it and the results were outstanding.
Dr. Meyer comes across as insincere, impatient and speaks fast. He does not answer questions to assure understanding and keeps talking when the patient is trying to clarify what was just stated by him. to ensure understanding. After my last visit, I decided I needed a different doctor where I am very confident that my eye doctor truly cares and can be trusted.
Dr. Meyer is extremely rude, unwilling to answer questions or take time to explain a procedure.
