Today for the first time in approx. 10 years I was late to an appointment due to being held up by a train. I was 15 minutes late. They would not take me and insisted on another appointment. I have always adored Dr. Lopez but I will now be taking my business to another dentist just based on this experience today. They treated me as if I my business and money was wonderful as long as I conformed to their needs but when I had the misfortune of being late once (literally once), they treated me very shabbily. Dr. Lopez is a great, terrific, wonderful, outstanding, knowledgeable dentist. His kindness and attention to your feelings/pain level sets him apart from any other dentist I've been to in my life. He is well versed in any dental procedure you need done. His staff is also great!
My experience with Manual Lopez at my sons last appt. is one I will never forget> My son 9yrs had abscessed tooth along with pain. Lopez was aware of his cavity from earlier appt but didn't fill it cause it was a baby tooth. So weeks later we end up at his office half hour before closing. Told him what was going on he didn't want to see him,we needed to make appt. He ended up seeing him but he was rude!! I was so floored!!! yeah I too thought he was nice and caring at the start. BEWARE!
I love Dr. Lopez, he is one of the kindest people I have ever met and makes you feel very safe at the dentist. So many dentists and their staff make you feel terrible if you haven't kept up with your dental hygiene, but not Dr. Lopez. I've never got a scolding or walked away feeling like a horrible person. Dr. Lopez is very, very gentle and so kind, always with a smile. He and his staff thoroughly explain everything and you come away with knowing exactly whats going on. I have never had such great service at any other dental office. Dr Lopez is wonderful at calming your nerves and making you feel important to the practice. I have never been rushed or made to feel uncomfortable in any way. I always leave the office with a smile on my face because Dr. Lopez always makes me laugh.
I just wanted to mention that if you have any nervousness being in the dentist chair, Dr. Lopez is VERY nice, and compassionate, he makes sure OFTEN that you are doing o.k., and makes you feel like a friend, and not just a number. I highly recommend him!
