I had a doctors appointment last Friday with the dr I got their at 9:55 my appointment was at 10:00 I didn't get called in to the room till 11 and during my appointment one of the nurses walked in and said u have a call so he walks out for 15 minutes and when he came. back in my room I was trying to ask him questions and he was just not answering my questions and he just wanted to hurry up and get out
He is very rude and unprofessional. He effectively told me that I was wasting his time and money by missing an appointment, and when I told him that no one had even informed me about the appointment he just said, "well, we always inform our patients, so that's no excuse." He acted like he was my boss chewing me out for missing work, and when I mentioned to the nurse how rude and unhelpful he was he came out into the waiting room to confront me in front of other patients. Talk about childish.
He was/is rude! acted as if I wasn't in the room. couldn't answer my question about a seizure/ pain medicine my husband is on, said that it's not a seizure medicine because he felt that it wasn't effective, use just for pain. When I asked if he could explain what that meant. He folded his little arms, sighed as if I was asking too much, took husbands BP, said he needed a MRI. and left! got ghost! Gone!, his number is now disconnected. Our PCP can't find him! He got paid for nothing! Smh
After reading all the reviews, I was nervous for my appointment (I have an HMO and do not have choice when it comes to providers). But my experience with Dr Arora is that he's a really kind and respectable doctor. I was anxious for my visit, but Dr Arora took the time to answer all my questions and made me feel really comfortable and cared for despite the unfortunate news of my diagnosis. I genuinely felt that he cared about me as he spent time explaining things to me about my condition & meds.
After SPECIFICALLY explaining my unique condition and symptoms all he did was order an excruciating hour and a half MRI that came back normal. I started to debate the point with Arora and all he said was that I could get a second opinion and he washed his hands of me. Literally he walked out of the room ! Neurologist my butt. If it's not an easy fix then they just walk away.
