Dr. Shakib is a nice person, but not an hEDS or EDS expert. I went with a shared intention of a daily workout plan. I paid $388 for the extensive assessment. She said I don't have hEDS and might have a CSF leak! Her office emailed me later and said that her package would be around $8000 for treating me for 3 months. She does not do visit to visit. I can't afford that nor do I think she is an hEDS expert.

Had initial free consult with her with an overweight chiropractor telling me about weight issues without offering help or credentials for solution.

The entire experience felt careless, unprofessional, and frankly, alarming. I left more anxious and confused than before, and now realize the appointment offered no real value—just fear tactics and misinformation. Proceed with caution. I strongly recommend doing your research before trusting your care to this office!!!! I had an extremely disappointing experience here. I left feeling more helpless than when I arrived. Dr. Shakib demonstrated a clear lack of understanding when it came to TMJ-related issues. Despite explaining my symptoms, there was no real guidance or insight provided.
