Stay away from this Doctor! She is arrogant, condescending and unprofessional. She refuse treatment for my wife because we refused to sign the HIPAA form which allows Doctors to share your private info with anyone. Please check this out and protect yourself! There are many good dermatologists in the NOVA area and I strongly suggest that you try anyone buy her. Buyer beware!
My wife would have been a new patient of this Doctor and after a one month advance appointment scheduling, we visited the office today and were handed standard insurance forms to be filled out. I explained that we do not sign the HPPA release which is our right by law. When the office manager stated that they insist upon HPPA to be signed, I stated that I would sign it under duress. It is stated clearly on their form that I can later ask that HPPA be refused. Buyer beware!
She could not diagnose my serious Hives condition . I don't need a doctor to prescribe antihistamines as I can get that off the shelf. I need a doctor who runs all kinds of tests and does not give up quickly to try to come up with a diagnosis.
Dr. Nandedkar is very confident and insightful--I have visited her for two separate conditions and in both cases, she immediately identified and treated them. On one occasion, I had an urgent issue and she made sure to see me immediately. Her passion for her work is very evident and though her manner is more direct, I always feel her care and concern for my health is genuine. When I was traveling, she asked me to send her pictures of my condition so she could monitor it. Highly recommend!
I was in severe pain and barely able to function. Some days I couldn't even walk. I visited 10 doctors before Dr. Nandedkar. None could help and many put me on extremely strong medication to no avail. Within a month of my first visit, my quality of life had vastly improved and within 6 months, life was completely back to normal. Her willingness to listen and care about me made all the difference. She and her staff are fantastic!
