Referred to the cardiologist for a checkup prior to low risk surgery. Nurse took my BP with a battery operated unit I can purchase at the drug store. Came up almost 160 over 100! Never had one higher than 135 / 75. I then asked her to take again using the wall mounted unit right next to me, she refused. Dr Elder comes in and sees the BP & states I need a stress test which coincidentally they do on site, I am in great physical shape besides this minor issue. Did not agree so I left.
Dr. Elder is very compassionate and understanding to my needs. Dr. Elder answers all questions, in regards to testing, procedures, and outcomes. I can truly state by my experience he has all his patients best interest at heart. He is truly a wonderful cardiologist.
