The more I think of my visit, the more I feel it was inappropriate for them to bill my insurance. I spoke with the rep and explained my situation in detail and asked if the doctor could prescribe a given medication. While not promising, he implied this doctor could. Met with the doctor and he refuses. I understand some docs don’t like some meds. If that’s the case, the front desk should let customers there is no chance. Save the headache for everyone. I have been seeing Dr. Muppa for several years and his compassionate care has helped me through some very difficult periods. He went above and beyond on more than one occasion to accommodate my needs. He is an active listener and includes me as a partner in my care. I have been so impressed in his patience and ability to explain treatment options. I have found him to be very accessible and I highly recommend him as a provider.
