Absolutely TERRIBLE experience with Dr Gulan. Was referred for PCOS and possible insulin resistence - when I described that my urine smells like maple syrup, she stared at me with a blank face for about a full minute and then told me I have anxiety and "just need therapy". The physical exam was also.... something. Picked up the bottom of my paper gown with just her thumb and one finger, stared at my genitals for a few seconds and walked away.
I've never left a review for a doctor, but I've also never left an appointment I waited nearly a year for sobbing because of how I was treated. Absolutely terrible experience and left having waited that long to get no answers except to blame genetics for the symptom I was least concerned about. Her receptionist was wonderful though which is what the one star is for.
When a patient is referred please tell them you have 15 stairs to the basement. No office on the main floor. Inconsiderate to people who tell you they have mobility issues. They will tell you there are some stairs......NOT 15 AND A LANDING IN THE MIDDLE. This is not an accessible doctor. Wouldn't know if they are any good as they wouldn't even go up the stairs to talk with my dad. Horrible. Be aware. Thanks for the lost time at work for nothing.
