My daughter has been a patient of Dr. Brady's for several years, seeing her on & off for GERD, which she has had since birth. When we first started seeing Dr. Brady several years ago, she was very helpful in treating my daughter’s condition & extremely patient in answering my questions. However, over the years, we found that it became increasingly difficult to get an appointment with Dr. Brady instead of her nurse practitioner and when we could go in to see Dr. Brady, she didn't seem to take our concerns seriously. We last v... read more

I'm not a patient of hers (thank god) but when I was admitted into the hospital because of Ulcerative Colitis she was the doctor on call and she was terrible! It was my 3rd day there and i was in the worst pain I've ever been in and they wouldn't let me eat for 2 days, she knew all of this and knew I was having over 12 very bloody stools a day and all she said was "well you're not crying you look fine to me, you can go home." The nurse in the room questioned that decision but Brady didn't care and so I went home and 2 days l... read more

Dr. Brady did not even examine my daughter. Upon learning about my daughter's feeding difficulties, she immediately pointed to Prevacid as the answer. I asked her what the side effects were, and she actually said there are none!!!!!!! I immediately knew I couldn't trust her and never went back after that.

Completely dismissed most of my concerns; refused to provide explanations re: plans for progress, or why she was so insistent that we were not ready for progress. When I asked for an explanation regarding *why* she was so certain the treatment I was uncomfortable with was necessary I was told, and I quote, "it just is." She insisted upon jumping to the easy answer (which left my child open to infection and little hope for progress) instead of spending any time at all considering alternatives, even though I asked about a vari... read more

Dr. Brady is probably the most experienced and practiced kids' GI doc in St. Louis. She works with many complex care preemies/babies/kids and she is whip smart. She talks fast and is nice but not overly emotional which can throw people off. The comments below about the waiting room are ridiculous and in the seven years we have been patients, I have never seen the office dirty. The office recently expanded to a large "clinic" on the bottom floor of Mercy Children's Hospital and the new partners also seem good. The office staf... read more

I have to say seeing Dr. Brady was the best doctor visiting experience I have had. I disagree with the prior person's comment on the waiting room. I felt it was nice, in fact my son did not want to stop playing. Dr. Brady took the time to answer all my questions. I will also say her staff was very nice. I have been in very few offices where the staff was so knowledgable. When I call the office with questions, I get a call back, THE SAME DAY!! I would highly recommend Dr. Brady to any one.
