I recently had strabismus surgery with Dr. Deitz and, as other reviewers have said, I had a very positive experience from start to finish. My vision has greatly improved. I no longer have any double vision or any need for prisms in my glasses. The surgical center where he performs his surgery was lovely and great at putting one at ease pre & post procedure. Dr Dietz is very patient, communicative and kind with a genuine interest in accommodating any issues or constraints you may have (in my case vis-à-vis anesthesia). Highly... read more
I had strabismus surgery with Dr. Deitz and it was such a positive experience. From start to finish, Dr. Deitz and the team made me feel at ease and explained everything clearly. The surgery went so smoothly and my recovery has been easier than I imagined. I’m so happy with the results, both in how my eyes feel and look. Truly grateful for the care and expertise here & if my children need ophthalmology he will be the first person I would trust.
My daughter has been seeing Dr. Dietz for almost 7 years. We've had nothing but great experiences with him. He's super knowledgeable about strabismus. I highly recommend him to anyone, especially to those with strabismus. He's truly wo... read more
We have been seeing Dr. Deitz for over 5 years for my children, and I highly recommend him. What truly stands out is his probability-adjusted risk approach—he is balanced, intentional, and thoughtful. Rather than prescribing treatments for the sake of doing something, he carefully assesses the probability of benefits versus risks, piecing together different inputs to make the most informed and accurate judgment calls for my child's care. He takes the right safeguards without overreacting. For example, when my child was young... read more
I should have read reviews before bring my child to Doctor Deitz practice. He is the worst doctor for kids due to his lack of patience (rushing through the appointment), unprofessional behavior (going back and forth between rooms to see several patients at the same time). He does not have the minimum respect to patients time, my son was seen 45 min after his schedule appointment. If your child needs drops for an eye exam do not even think to bring them over this doctor because he will make that experience even more traumatic... read more
