This was the worst experience I have ever had with a physician. His horrible bed side manner wasn’t even the worst part. After he explained the medication I needed he told me my “ homework” was to call my insurance, BC/BS, and find out what they covered because “ my staff doesn’t have the time to do that”. Now mind you I have a common diagnosis with a very popular insurance that I would think he would know what they cover. Not to mention he still has to do a prior authorization for the medication. Rheumatology is super complex and can cause a lot of confusion for patients. Dr. Del Rosario is very good at explaining things to where patients understand. I really appreciate his straight forwardness & at the same time he has always been kind and professional.
I am surprised at the unfavorable reviews. While it's true Dr. Del Rosario is not your typical medical professional I find this to be a wonderful thing. He was extremely thorough, listened to what I had to say, and unlike most he was understanding of my financial restraints and did not pressure me into things I couldn't afford. Dr Del Rosario has a unique style for sure, (might take a bit to get used to) but he is one of the most dedicated and involved doctor I have ever met with!! I would recommend him in a heartbeat
He was very arrogant, dismissive, not supportive and has no empthany. Was a very unpleasant person. I'll never go there again nor refer anyone to his person!
