Although Dr. Del Rosario in my opinion is a very knowledgeable physician, it seems he has a bit of a personality problem. I had read the reviews after my first 2 visits with him and even though most were negative, I gave him the benefit of doubt. With that said, on this last visit, he acted very confrontational, impatient, and dismissive to any of my concerns. I am surprised there are any positive comments! Been several years and each time I have been amazed at his arrogance, condescending attitude as well as a total lack of any intellectual curiosity. As others have stated; shame on me for waiting this long to shed this poor excuse of a physician. His knowledge is not that good either, never mind his total lack of understanding he is just a physician; a human and nothing more.
1st appointment, he was great. Took time to go over everything and I liked him. 2nd appointment was like a Jekyll and Hyde. He came in cussing cause of his laptop not responding and it went down hill from there. He was dismissive, argumentive and basically claimed I was sabotaging my care. I went back next day to fill out financials for a particular new med and left his hand written note that backed up what I had said. I was recently referred to this Dr for further evaluation. He was extremely thorough and listened carefully to my history and even family history. He ordered only the necessary bloodwork and was quick to pick up on something I said that I would have never thought could be related. I found him to be above and beyond knowledgeable in his field of specialty.
I was just there today and I wish I would’ve looked at the review. He had to be the most arrogant rude doctor I have ever met. He didn’t wanna listen to me and why I was there. He asked me why I was there. It was terrible, but that’s OK. He got his co-pay and he can bill my insurance never again.
