I felt very comfortable. Office staff and Dr. Godwyn very nice and informative.
Saw me for 5 minutes, diagnosed what I thought it was (liver spot due to my old age of 56), made me buy an ointment which I used but did not work at all (actually made the blemish on my face much worse) so he immediately referred me to see someone else at his practice in Shelton. The other doctor saw me twice and gave me other cream and ointment to use but even after many visits and religious use of the cream ONE YEAR later, the 'liver' spot either got worse or stayed the same (on good days).

I saw Dr Godwin for a medical issue and he spent most of my 8 minutes with him talking about cosmetic options. He didn’t ask about prior medications I’ve been prescribed for my rosacea, and prescribed me two medications: one that I’ve tried before that didn’t work, plus an antibiotic, even though we discussed my concerns about long term antibiotic use. And I felt rushed. Had to see another dermatologist since Dr Godwin didn’t help.
