Dr. Godwin is not knife happy. He is always looking at the best outcome for the patient with the minimal amount of medicine or surgery.
Excellent visit. Office personnel are extremely professional and efficient. Dr. Godwin is thorough and has excellent bedside manner.
DR Godwin harps on 6 month check ups for "Full Skin Check UP" I set up an appointment for this checkup 6 -7 months ago for (9/2/22) When I got to office was told he was not in that day. When asked why no one called was told they had an incorrect phone number. What about e mail or directory assistance??? Next available appointment was 2 months later in November, there was one in September, but I am out of town. Great Doctor but very unprofessional conduct in not notifying me.
Always in a big hurry. No time to voice concerns before he was out door.
Dr. Goodwin is an excellent dermatologist. He is patient, caring and kind. He listens and clearly answers all questions.
Terrible experience with their scheduling and billing. I was going to be 10 minutes late and called to let them know. The girl suggested I just reschedule. So I did. I received a cancellation fee invoice within a few days. Does Dr Edelglass even know what his staff is doing? Does he even care? Someone is ruining his practice. And if they cant get the little stuff right, I am sure his lassifare attitude is translating to his effectiveness as a diagnostician. Dr. Godwin is professional and very friendly. His staff also go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. He has been great at all of our visits and I would recommend him to anyone!
I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to do so -- unfortunately I received a very speedy body check (maybe under 3-5 minutes!) and I have had many body checks before (I go annually) -- I have a lot of family history of basal cell and melanoma...so this concerned me. I went to another local dermatologist the next day (!) and had FOUR moles removed and sent for pathology. if I were asked to write a composite picture of a competent, skilled and knowledgeable doctor, it would be Dr. Edelglass. He treated my skin condition with care and cleared the affected area virtually back to the way it looked many years ago.
