We were referred to this doctor and went to him a few times for follow ups on a an issue. He doesn't spend a lot of time in the room with the patient and just assumes you'll stay a patient. If you need more attention to detail and bedside manner you probably need to find another doc.
Recently My daughter broke her wrists in a roller blading accident. We took her to Banner Thunderbird emergency room. She received X rays. The nurse told us that there was not a doctor on duty who could review the X rays, but it did not appear she had broken her wrist, but a doctor would review them. My daughter received a Motrin and no additional treatment. If I could give him 0 out of 5 stars, I would. Days after my spinal fusion he neglected my pain. Months later after getting a spinal fusion he continued to neglect the pain. Almost a decade after getting a spinal fusion from this godforsaken man, I have continued my care through pain specialist, physically therapy, aquatic therapy, and acupuncture. Dr. Vu is a wonderful surgeon. My sister had to have surgery to correct severe scoliosis. After hours of research and weighing the pros and cons of the procedure we decideded Dr. Vu would be the surgeon to do it. He is thorough and caring. His Physicians Assistant is always present and willing to help in any way that she can. They were both very helpful, kind, considerate and reassuring when checking in on us once a day throughout the painstaking recovery process in the hospital.
