Dr. Liz has a deep understanding and high level of knowledge, when it comes to the complexities of marital conflict and resolution. Her caring heart and relationship wisdom make her not only an invaluable marriage counselor but also a beautiful human being, and these attributes carry over to the podcast she does with Dr. Dave (Stronger Marriage Connection). I was triggered as I ran across her name online recently. My now ex and I saw her back in the mid 2000’s and she was utterly useless. She refused to see my now ex and I separately, even for one session, so there was no way for me to open up and be SAFE to express to her what was really going on in my marriage. I do understand that “the couple is the client”, but failing to allow a SAFE space for each person to express their perspective privately to her is DAMAGING, and potentially DANGEROUS. Whew. I wasn’t going to write a review until I saw another woman on this that has had an experience with her and is suffering from a serious severe abusive relationship. If your relationship is not domestic violence related, then yes she is good. She focuses on the woman being feminine and getting back to that nature. But if you’re dealing with abuse she is severely not aware of the dangers of addressing those behaviors and impulsions.
