I have been a patient of Dr Schachna for many years. He has always been there for me, even taking calls after hours. He is a patient, caring and thorough doctor. I highly recommend this wonderful man.
Standard appointment with Dr Schachna is 15 minutes. I was in with him for 12 minutes. Got to counter to pay and was being asked to pay $80 more than usual. Supposedly in my 12 minute appointment I asked a “complex question” which cost an additional $80. All I asked was if there were any known side effects for the medication he was prescribing. He seemed uninterested in his work and his patients health. The receptionist was very rude. I do not recommend this practice at all.

Dr Schakner is the very best Rheumatoligst i have ever seen. I have had Psoriatic Arthritis since i was 24...so over 30 years...i finally found this wonderful doctor about 10 years ago. He is softly spoken and a lovely man. Cares about his patients and no arrogance whatsoever. Highly recommended!
