Dr. Appel is truly the best! I saw her throughout the majority of my pregnancy and not once did I feel uneasy or unheard. My first pregnancy felt so smooth and although she did not deliver my baby, I loved how responsive and reassuring she was throughout my whole pregnancy! I couldn’t have imagined seeing anyone else!
I'm 37 weeks pregnant (going on 38) and have had a wonderful experience at Dr. Appel's office. She has excellent bedside manner, is easy to talk to, and very responsive. Any time I email her through MyChart, she replies quickly - even during off hours - which I truly appreciate. The staff are also very friendly, and I especially want to give a shoutout to Bianca. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Appel and the entire team at Mercy Medical Center. From my very first appointment, I felt completely at ease. Dr. Appel is the best OB. I never felt like I was bothering her despite sending her a ton of MyChart messages throughout my pregnancy. She answered every message promptly and with care. She is incredibly smart and extremely skilled at her job. I also appreciated that she wasn’t an alarmist and she made me feel calm throughout pregnancy and during my delivery. I wouldn’t see anyone else. I cannot recommend Dr. Appel highly enough!!!
