I would give zero stars since this place let my papilledema go on and my black spots in my field of visions test continue to get worse, stretched me put into 3 visits across 10 months. with no referral to a neuro opthalomologist which is what i went here for. this doctor acted nice but required me to have an mri “before she would write me that referral” but here is the kicker…wouldnt order me an mri. This place doesnt care if i go blind or die. I feel like the dr was pretty caring. but no one is willing to write me an mri order for my brain, yet she is requiring i have a brain mri first before she can diagnose or treat my severely swollen optic nerves Papilledema. which if u look it up it needs a referral to a neuro opthamologist right away. well ive had confirmed papilledema and migraines and eye pain confirmed on exams in march, april & july. Edit: still no word back or response on the email they told me to send. extremely disappointed and upset im suffering this long bed bound with migraines and eye pain and nothing is being done. Couldve got the ball rolling by ordering me a brain MRI like you are requiring, and by writing me a referral to a neuro opth when you confirmed swollen optic nerves papilledema twice now. Really liked Dr Kristal, but im not liking the fact that my emails are ignore and she is requiring to see my brain MRI before we can proceed further with treatment or writing a referral to a neuro-opth…..yet an MRI hasnt been ordered. Ive known about my swollen optic nerves papilledema since March(but my migraines got worse months before that, so longer) and Its now August. I felt at ease with Dr Kristal, and heard. which is rare. She also took the time to really read over my chart, and to ask more questions and try to see if other health issues were connected, again rare. So I really like her. The problem Im having is, a regular eye dr caught my swollen optic nerves back in March, after I complained of bad migraines eye pain & visual auras, that doctor at first said it was normal, then saw my swollen optic nerves, and said i really need to see a neuro opthalmologist. wrote me a referral. unfor... read more
