Dt. Li Zhai is always very thorough and asks insightful questions. She follows through and has time to provide clear and insightful answers, a rare commodity in this day and age when doctors feel rushed and delegate more than they do themselves. Edit: a few years later and I'm still seeing Dr. Zhai. If you want a professional that takes their time to listen and examine you, and that discusses issues thoroughly, Dr. Zhai is the right one for you and your family.
Dr. Zhai is very knowledgable and friendly. Dr. Zhai speaks Mandarin Chinese and that helps a lot since my mom doesn't speak English. She helped diagnose and treat my mom for her UTI issue. Before visiting Dr.Zhai, we went to the local ER for several times and couldn't resolve the issue. Dr. Zhai also went out of her way to help us work with our insurance company later on. We really appreciate the care and help Dr. Zhai provided. I'd certainly recommend her to my family and friends!
I would give her a zero star if I could. First off, the way she conducts business is so wrong — she charged my card w/o my consent, she never sent me a bill or even emailed me one — rather charged my card not once but twice blaming that it was a technical error. She never performed any mental health assessment on me but billed the insurance company for it. She also billed me for several otjer procedures she never performed. I’ve filed complaints to my insurance company about these fraudulent activities.
Does not understand mental health or its effects. Will tell someone with a mental health condition that they need to "just push through it." Will suggest mental health treatments that have proven harmful for those conditions, and then when told research found these to be harmful, will respond with "research shows it harmful for the general public, but what about for you? Have you tried it?"
