Dr. Schon did a tremendous job of repairing both of my peroneal tendons, first one around 2000, and the 2nd approx 2004. I have full function, and no pain in either ankle! He also was so kind and spent time with me in both instances, explaining the problem and what he recommended to be done. I always felt I could trust him implicitly, and if I ever have another foot and ankle problem, I will definitely be going to him for help, even tho I now live 3 hrs away! Dr. Schon also gave my high school friend back the use of his ankl... read more

Absolute WORST bedside manner ever! I wouldn't send my dog to this man if I was recommended to do so. First appointment he walks in and looks at my foot and tells me to prepare for a AMPUTATION, I start to cry, and he yells, "what do you want me to do?" then says okay I'll order scans..that is a fail...thanks to John Hopkins I am walking perfectly fine with my foot in tact, after healing from ankle surgeries.

Not only is he incredibly skilled, but his bedside manner is outstanding—kind, professional, and even funny, which made a tough time much easier. I had several follow-ups over six months, and by month four, I already felt fully recovered (though I waited for his offic... read more

Dr. Schon operated on my foot back in 1994. I had ten broken bones in my left food due to a car accident. He did a great job and I can not thank him enough for his wonderful skills.

Dr Schon performed a complex operation on my severely arthritic right foot a year ago. Today I am walking everywhere with no pain. He did a great job. He is caring, empathic and kind. He spends a lot of time with his patients explaining the operation and after the surgery explaining how the healing is coming along. Because he spends so much time with his patients, he is often late for appointments. Sometimes very late. And because he is so well regarded in his field it takes time to get an appointment. But he is worth the wa... read more
