I had two foot and ankle reconstruction surgeries by Dr. Schon. It's been over 10 years and my pain is wah lower and I'm functioning fine after decades of horrible pain. I'm so grateful for his expertise.
In 2024, I had a needle stuck in my foot. I went to two different hospitals, but they were unable to remove it. When I met Dr. Lew Schon, he gave me confidence and told me, “Don’t worry, we will be successful.” With his excellent skills and expertise, Dr. Schon carefully and successfully removed the needle from my foot. Achilles rupture with surgery repair. Healthy otherwise. Technically, his surgery skills were perfect. His bedside was very comforting. If it was just these factors, I would give him 5 stars and recommend everyone trust him. 0 stars for the post-surgery protocols. He delayed my physical therapy for 3 months post surgery because of outdated research. New research suggests everyone starts PT within a week of surgery. My first meeting with Dr. Schon and his PA was truly a pleasure and a breath of fresh air. He immediately understood what needed to be done, and I cannot wait for my surgery so I can get back to normal. I trust that he will work his magic on my foot!
