I like other comments here have great appreciation for this doctor. He performed open heart surgery (corrected coarctation of the aorta) on me when I was a newborn and saved my life.
Like so many others, Dr. Bailey performed open-heart surgery on myself when I was incredibly young. Actually, I was the youngest at the time (around 1975) to have open-heart surgery. I was given a life expectancy of about 10 years, life past teens would have been a miracle, and I suppose it was. Although, I have pneumonia at the moment, I am quite healthy overall. Dr Bailey has always been on my son Gabriel Parra & my mind for the past 29 1/2 years. Is there any way I can get in contact with Dr Bailey that would be a great blessing. My son was born August 1988. Dr Bailey performed a Transversal of zither Greater Arteries (aka Mustard Procedure) on my son Gabriel when he was only 2 weeks old).
