Like so many others, Dr. Bailey performed open-heart surgery on myself when I was incredibly young. Actually, I was the youngest at the time (around 1975) to have open-heart surgery. I was given a life expectancy of about 10 years, life past teens would have been a miracle, and I suppose it was. Although, I have pneumonia at the moment, I am quite healthy overall.
