I went to St Clair Hopital three weeks ago having a heart attack and Dr. Gehl was the cardiologist on call. I received varying information while in the hospital from him and the other doctors. At my follow up appointment with him, I had to remind him what he had told me and what he had done! Then, after a stress test, he sent me back for another stent. My husband has been going to Dr Gehl since he was 45 and now he is 69, so many years. He has been a great doctor in all this time .
Dr. Gehl is an excellent doctor. He is very knowledgeable and thorough. Highly recommended
Dr Gehl was the most two-faced, spineless doctor I have ever encountered. He said one thing to my face but delivered the exact opposite message to relay through a nurse, keeping me in the dark. When scheduling my procedures, he was in no hurry and caused me to waste an entire day. When I did finally get to talk to him, he made snide remark and walked away. Terrible experience.
Did not spend time with me. Talked down to me a bit. Did not communicate much.
