Dr Argue is rigid and not tolerant to shared knowledge. He thinks, he has the full authority to prescribe any medication to his patients without their knowledge and without adequate consultation with the patients. He does not like to be challenged. He was prescribed to me a painkiller that caused a heart attack. I ended up in Evergreen emergency and with an unnecessary angiogram. Last year, after my pain specialist loss his license from the state, I was in a panic. I had seen him as my primary for a number years. I called him and with much compassion, took down slowly off my medication until I could find another pain specialist. I did not suffer much. Now I am at reasonable levels of medication for pain. He was not judgemental and very compassionate. Thank you.
In response to the post below I ALSO have Fibro. and Dr. Argue has been nothing but helpful when it comes to getting me proper care. I'm sorry you had such a bad experience but I'm sure he DOES believe in Fibro. Maybe he has had bad experiences with the specialist you saw. I hope you are able to find a doctor that works for you.
Dr. Argue does not believe in Fibromyalgia, he rejected a Specilaists opinion & called him a "quack". Refused to talk to me about situation, & refused to respond to letters sent. Very closed minded & opinionated, not willing to listen .RUDE, to where I left in tears!
My family has been under Dr. Argue's care for 5 years. We were referred to him for my son's circumcision. My son had issues gaining weight and needed frequent check ups. Being over 50 I have had a few docs in my life. Dr. Argue is by far the best I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. He knows his trade and is a very friendly down to earth Doctor. His staff is 100% at all times. His MA Erin is helpful,returns calls promptly, knows her stuff and is just a nice lady. I have never waited over 10 minutes in the waiting room. If you are looking for a doctor that seems to truly love what he is doing then this is the doctor for you.
