I had a Melanoma that was found on my chest. My Dermatologist referred me to Dr. Theophelis and I am blessed that she did. From the moment I met this doctor, he reduced my anxiety almost immediately. And I was anxious. He explained everything in detail. His positive attitude was evident and gives the patient hope. Dr. Theophelis also has a great sense of humor which helps calm the patient. I came to him with a massive hematoma and he removed it. I got another one a month after my surgery and he, nor his office staff believed me. They would not even answer the phone for me. I went to the ER twice and CT showed it but was sent home and told it would shrink and go away. It did not!! I had to have it surgically removed by a different doctor. Also, I have so much scar tissue from being glued in my abdomen, which of course, came loose. It is ugly and big. He should have helped me more.
My mother was diagnosed with melanoma above her left eye. She was really nervous & scared. She went in to see Dr. Theophelis and he put her mind to ease right away. He was very attentive & knowledgeable . He got her in to surgery really fast, working around her schedule. He was there to see her when she was preparing for surgery, came in to see me in the waiting room to let me know things went well, and called mom personally the next day to see how she was doing. We highly recommend!
Not only a great Dr. but a great person. Office staff & Dr. T are like family now. Seen him for reconstruction on my leg after a bad accident. Would highly recommend.
