Whatever your impressions are w/ pain mgmt docs, Dr Brown breaks the mold! She tailors your care plan to your specific problem & tries her best to help you. She only recommends injections if she feels they will help. She is so compassionate & has an amazing team.
I needed help because of extreme pain. I cannot express the wonderful attention and care I am receiving from Doctor Brown. From the first visit the staff (which is absolutely efficient, knowledgeable and caring) to Doctor Brown my problem is understood and addressed. Doctor Brown and staff spend time, listen, and treat.
I have seen Dr. Brown several times over the past 10+ years and will not let any other pain management Dr. touch my back. She remembers everything about me and my history. She is professional, takes her time and very compassionate. I will be seeing her again soon and highly recommend her.
I felt like I was on an assembly line. Saw 3 different assistants before the doctor came in. She spoke so fast, was rushed and I couldn't get a word in edgewise to ask a question. Very frustrating. I would be gracious by saying she was in the room with me for 5 minutes. This after I waited an HOUR to see her at 9:30 in the morning. How are you that far behind that early in the morning? She scheduled me for injections, and the assistant explained how she has done thousands of these. Well, she hasn't done thousands of these on... read more
She was curt with me although thorough. No help in treating diabetic neuropathy. I prefer compassionate, caring physicians. I found a wonderful physician elsewhere. NEVER will return here.
My first visit went very well. I liked Dr. Brown immediately. As busy as she is she have me the time to answer all my questions. She is the first Dr. to really understand that I can't start PT until she can get me out of pain and feeling physically able to attempt PT. I am very happy to start working with her plans for me. Thank you Dr Brown
Don't waste your time. Appointment for a hip Xray, but they insisted on a lower back Xray. Then, out of all my problems documented, Dr. Brown would not look at even one report. I am a documented handicapped chronic pain patient and the Doctor is in a hurry to get you out. Two hours wait for an 8-minute dictation by the doctor.
I waited a week for an appointment scheduled at 2PM. The front desk staff were friendly and I only waited a short time in the waiting room. Taken to exam room then shortly taken for X-rays. If I had not been in pain for over 2 weeks I would have questioned X-Rays at that point. The technician took X-rays based on what I said hurt. A long time later Lori introduces herself as the P.A., asked some questions, blood pressure, etc. Then asked if I want trigger point shots! At this point I asked when was I talking with Dr. Brown a... read more
