April 16, 2020 Dr. Lawrence Johnson, MD responded "I'm sorry that you had a negative experience. I always hand PT prescriptions to patients in person and unfortunately it seems you left the office without it. You missed your one month followup, and had you returned at that visit, I would have ordered an MRI to nail the diagnosis . I have been going to mvoa for about two years and Dr Johnson is my doctor. He very respectful and I want to thank him for being there. And doing all he can for me especially when I call there fast with the appointments.

I went to this doctor last year for neck pain. He said I had a c7 disc herniation, said his staff was calling in a prescription and told me to go to physical therapy. His staff never actually called in the prescription and come to find out, I have a c5-c6 disc herniation w radiculopathy. Hespent maybe 5 min with me and didn't answer any of my questions. Which is fine since he misdiagnosed me anyway. There's other local doctors that are amazing, I wouldn't trust him with my cat!

Horrible horrible person, does not care for patients feelings and i will never refer anymore loved ones to him. ill make sure to have friends pass this along to their loved ones also!!! His staff were wonderful but he is an awful Doctor

I would not recommend Dr. Johnson to my worst enemy. I went to him with severe pain down my leg. He took an X-ray and said he saw nothing but some arthritis, and gave me a cortisone shot in the rear and said that some massage therapy would help. I went for two sessions of physical therapy and each time I came home with such unbearable pain. I didn't return. After seeing another Dr and an Mri found I had a herniated disc pressing on a nerve and required surgery. Steer clear of Dr Johnson!!!!!!!!!

Visited Dr Johnson twice for a problem recurring over 2 years. Would have gone elsewhere after my first visit if my second episode of pain was not so severe. On the first visit I went in as a new patient with back pain from a suspected weight lifting injury, an xray was ordered and I was discharged with a possible bone spur irritating surrounding muscles. 2 years later I returned with crippling pain and again sent away with a normal for your age. A 2nd opinion and MRI showed 3 bulging discs.

I went in having hip pain in the same area that had a stress fracture and bursitis before. I was looking for guidance on what could be causing the continued discomfort/pain. I am a runner and have been out almost a year with these issues. He didn't let me explain any history, looked at x-rays saying nothing there (my injuries have never shown unless MRI). Said I could cross train if I even knew what that was and sent me off saying I could come back with real pain. Not going back, discouraging
