He was aweful. Very short. Very rude. Basically asked us what we thought he should do. A week later and tons of problems still. Now I need to pay for a 2nd opinion. So frustrated!
Went in for a broken shoulder, he charged me over $1200 for a 15 minute office visit!!!! After speaking with MANY people (at least 7) in the office, no one can tell me why the $1200 charge... no one! I was bounced from person to person and still no one knows. He acted as if I should have known the answers to my questions, he deals with broken bones daily... not me! I do not like him, I do not appreciate the staffs lack of ability to help, I will not go back!!

I was worried after reading negative reviews about Dr. Lieber, but I had a wonderful experience with him. Courteous, friendly, patient (and I had a 12/31 - New Years Eve appointment) and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend him for hip issues!

Be careful with this doc. He gives bogus IME reviews. He spent no time with me and no way he looked at my MRI (I walked from the room 15 feet to the bathroom and back and they handed my disc said he looked at it). He hit me in the area that I’m in pain with made more pain but “nothing wrong fit for duty” Was very very rude.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Please stay as far away from this doctor as humanly possible. He rushed through my diagnosis and explained nothing to me. He did not allow me the time to explain what symptoms I was feeling nor did he ask me how I obtained my injury. When I asked to for explanations he stated nothing was wrong. In 12/2010. Dr. Lieber performed a knee replacement of my left knee. There were issues from the beginning. When he took out the staples, I bled for over an hour (maybe it should be said I "leaked" for that long, this wasn't true blood). Even the x-ray tech this wasn't normal. My leg was swollen and red, the scar never healed all the way, and all Lieber would say, "This may happen." 9 months later? 10 day hospital stay, surgery redo and a MRSA infection.

I called as a past customer of Dr Lieber, with special circumstances as my husband lost his job and we have no insurance. Lieber did two hip replacements for me, I am having trouble with one of the hip replacements thinking that I could get an xray with special circumstances. After looking my xrays, he asked how I got injured. I told him it happened while weight lifting, he said that weightlifting is bad for shoulders but gave no alternatives. He "examined" my shoulder by doing ~4 basic special tests. We discussed the pain & he said to take Aleve & keep exercising my shoulder(?!) - if things got worse, to come back for a cortisone injection. He has NO bedside manner. I already complained to BCBS about him. DO NOT waste your time or money with this thief.

He did knee replacement surgery on me and it was a surprisingly easy and a relatively pain-minimal experience. He made clear that my participation in the process was important, pre and post op. Supplied plenty of information and staff contacts and classes for me to take which helped me better prepare myself. I found him to be very kind, personable and attentive. Most importantly, he did a great job on my knee. If/when the other knee goes, I will be calling him!
