Find another doctor. She is not responsive. Called in with a problem in the morning and left a message. No one returned the call. Called later in the afternoon and told they did not get the message. Promised they would talk to the doctor and get back to me. No one did. Called the next day and told doctor busy and if I had a problem to go to a doctor at a shopping center. I guess she never took the oath "Do No Harm". Would not trust her now for a second!
I saw Dr Rothman several times before she changed practices and assumed she would always be my PCP. However, when she changed practices I was not notified and therefore dropped as a patient without my knowledge. When I called to make an appointment for a pre-op (a pretty time sensitive appointment) I was told I was dropped as a patient and would be considered a new patient which would mean I would have to wait 6 months for an appointment. This is simply unacceptable and I am very disappointed
I just picked up my health insurance and called to schedule a follow from the er over the weekend. First I must have a new patient apt (6 months out) before I can be seen. So I'm paying $200 a week for health insurance and can't be seen by a doctor for 6 months. That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Not to mention the lady I spoke with was not very pleasant either. Requiring a new patient apt when someone one obviously needs to be seen is far from putting the patient first....just saying.
Dr . Rothman has all of the qualities of a good family physician, compassion, great communication skills, and best of all, scientific knowledge and the best training. As a physician myself, she is the perfect doctor's doctor.
Dr. Rothman takes time with me discussing all my health concerns, lab results and my previous visits with her. I am so happy to have a doctor that cares about me and my health.
SWEET DOCTOR. AWFUL OFFICE STAFF. WE ALL LEFT THE PRACTICE BECAUSE OF THIS.
Dr. Rothman is a great primary physician and her nurse practitioner Delaney is also very good. HOWEVER: It is difficult to get results since Dr Rothman changed practices. You either have to have an appt (which can be hard to get on short notice) or you end up playing phone tag. Rothman and Delaney are prohibited by the practice from communicating with patients except through the non-existent portal. Supposedly, this is on its way but in the meantime, it disrupts patient care.
Dr. Rothman is a brilliant diagnostician. I have been with her for over 10 years. She is very organized and knowledgeable of the latest developments in medicine.
Very caring and empathetic, addressing all my concerns on point.
