As a person with a rare, chronic neuroinflammatory disorder, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), finding a doctor who's heard of my condition is rare, let alone one experienced in treating orthopedic injuries in CRPS. Yet Dr Laurie Glasser is that physician. Smart,kind & pragmatic, she listens & answers questions until I understand. For me, she's been an excellent diagnostician & had no ego referring to super subspecialists if needed. Due to CRPS, I see many doctors; Glasser's in my top 10%
She told me I had arthritis in my knee Shot me up with lidocaine and told me to go run! went for second opinion showed I had a root tear of the meniscus at the bone.
She told me I had MS based on one MRI. After multiple invasive tests through a specialist in NYC I learned she was wrong.
Dr.Glasser is not a listener how can you help someone when you don't give them the time to explain there symptoms.She hears only herself!She makes you feel if your problem doesn't show on a test that the other things that could be bothering you don't exist STAY AWAY!!!!
Excellent and professional caring doctor. Extremely knowledgeable and explains in an easy way the medical procedures and evaluations. Stellar diagnostician! After seeing 4 other doctors, she figured out what tests should be taken in order to correctly figure out the problem and solution.
