1 1-2 hour wait every time I have been here.
Have already sent out an email to my whole contact list telling them to avoid this Dr! She was very hyper in manner and speech... spoke with my 88 year old Mom without facing her even after me prompting her twice, telling her that my Mom was hard of hearing and could not follow her rapid speech. Dr is very poor communicator...no way would I trust her doing eye surgery!!!!
Terrible experience. I sat in the exam room for over an hour waiting for Dr. Dory to perform the eye exam after getting the basic vision check, refraction and dilation drops. Then they demand an extra $45 out of my pocket just to give me a printout of the lens prescription.
I have a virus that causes tear loss.I have broken glasses. 1st visit said cataracts use drops come back in week 2nd visit. Puts a plug in my eye without considering complications from my virus. Refused to give me a rx for glasses when mine are broken. Says come back in 3 months my 1st day with eye plug has me seeing stars and is painful. Called Dr refused to see me for 3 months. Insurance won't pay for new Dr .Have cried all day. I'm stuck with no glasses and new eye problems
Although my exam was thorough and Dr. Dory ran many tests. She stated that she could not improve my eyesight. I have never heard of such except for the blind. I told her I wear non prescription readers currently. I was asked to use drops and return 2 weeks for follow up of what she thought " might " be Fuchs Disease. I cancelled the appt. If an eye Dr. cannot improve your eyesight I don't see the point of returning. I have to wait until next year to pay another Dr. to re-exam my eyes.
Absolutely the most caring doctor I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. She REALLY cares about each of her patients. I very highly recommend her, as do all the other patients I know who have had procedures done by Dr. Dory. Very dedicated!
