Dr Dela-Bovi delivered my daughter in 1985. The experience was amazing! I still talk about Dr. Dela-Bovi’s care to this day. She was compassionate, caring and took the time to listen. I always felt safe while in her care, and wished that I could have continued with her. After my baby was born, we had to move out of state, which sadly made it impossible to continue to be her patient.
I went to Dr Delli-Bovi for several years and had nothing but poor experiences. She once poked me so hard in the ovary that I cringe during pap smears remembering the pain, and she didn't even apologize. "That's your ovary," she said as I cried out in pain. She also refused to authorize a one month extension on my birth control so that I wouldn't have a lapse in my hormone coverage even after I made an appointment to visit her. Very uncaring practice that allows patients to remain in pain while office takes their time about medication. Horrible front office staff--very rude and cavalier.
