As a medical student I realized my love for surgery the direct action that could be taken to solve a problem. As a resident I realized that I also wanted the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with my patients. Nothing allowed me to do this as much as breast surgery. Everyone was knowledgeable, friendly, and showed good teamwork
The Oncology team that I have has been nothing but wonderful. Every provider has taken the time and effort to make sure I understand the treatment plan and process of procedures to come. I have been made to feel that I am in the safest space to deal with this life changing disease and with people that will help see me through it all. I am grateful to have the providers that I have.

Dr. Lazarus is truly responsive to any concerns I have related to my health and as a whole person with a life . I was also struck by the fact she had information easily available in her office regarding nerve functioning after a mastectomy . I have known numerous women who have struggled to have conversations about this with their provider . She is a truly compassionate and skilled doctor and I am so grateful she is mine .

She's my breast cancer surgeon. The cancer has been removed. She's an exceptional surgeon and person! Smart and always answers questions and provides test results faster than I'm accustomed to.
