I found Dr Hermann profoundly invalidating, uncaring and at times had little insight or understanding of trauma. I dont recommend him particularly for women or those with cptsd, bpd, or personality vulnerabilities. I disassociated most sessions as i felt so uncomfortable with his rough approach. He also raised his voice at me, and justified it as which had a difficult impact on me and was so hurtful.
I found Dr Hermann profoundly invalidating, uncaring and he left me in a much worse place that when I met him.
I had a destabilising experience with this practitioner - services were paternalistic, not containing, and a recreation of earlier trauma. The services did not meet my needs or expectations and treatment was wrapped up over an angry email rather than in session. I dont recommend.
