My visit was a very pleasant experience with Dr. Hort. I immediately had an Xray and seated in the exam room He knew right away what was wrong and made several suggestions as to what to do. He explained thoroughly what was wrong and explained all my options. I highly recommend Dr. Hort.
Re-evaluation of surgery and xray at 7 months. Although I don't see Dr Hort, his associates are primo. If you do your part as a team, you will have a successful recovery. Their surgical skill and follow up are excellent.
I would NOT recommend Dr Hort to anyone based on my mother’s hip fracture surgery back in May, 2020. She fell and was taken by ambulance to Flagler Hospital where she was given pain meds and fell asleep. Dr Hort operated on her first thing the next morning before she awoke - without a consultation. She was not seen for follow up until Oct when she saw only the assistant who told her she needed weight bearing & strengthening exercises for her left hip & physical therapy.
