I do not recommend this doctor. I had a 8 am appointment and didn’t get seen until 9. Doctor Hort didn't introduce himself he just walked in and said what’s up? He didn’t say good bye I'll see you in however many weeks. He just shouted to a nurse to order a MRI and walked out of the room.. I was just like that’s it? All he said the whole time is I don’t know and when I mentioned swelling in my foot he said he didn’t see swelling when he hadn’t even looked at my foot yet. Dr. Hort provided a most professional opinion regarding the advisability of not pursuing surgery. His honestly is greatly appreciated.
Had major ankle surgery 10 years ago. Follow up has been excellent & prescription renewals with PA Rich Hamel has been great.
Dr. Hort was a great doctor and I highly recommend him! He was thorough, knowledgeable, always on time, took time to listen to my questions and answered all of them weighing the options. Very efficient practice.

Very professional and courteous
Knew immediately what I needed and took care of it right away. Provided explanations and answered questions to my satisfaction. All around great doctor.
I have found Dr. Hort to be very thorough in his explanations and very willing to explain in "English" what i do not understand. He is willing to listen to my questions and concerns. That being said, Dr. Hort performed two operations on my ankle, both of which failed. While I don't think it was his surgical skill, I did have to go out of state to have a successful experience.
