I thought he could be trusted but be VERY careful what you say.
I’ve gone to this mental health center for over 8 years on and off due to life circumstances. Every time I had not seen a doctor or therapist in the last six months I had to call the new patient coordinator. It always took at least two weeks to get a call back from this woman. Today, I called and tried to set up an appointment after not seeing Dr. Sherick in the last three years. Not knowledgable on Adult ADD. Office staff rude/incompetent. Charge for everything. Military vet, out of work for a year, needed 2 job forms filled out by same company..$150 to get them in 3 business days. Office called to say "prescription" ready to be picked up..never requested it!
Never have I experienced a bigger jerk than Dr. Kurt Sherick. We had an 11:30a.m. appointment for my 88 year old mother. She is in a wheelchair and quite frail. When we arrived to Dr. Sherick's office at 11:25am there were no parking spaces available. Since this was a first visit, I told my sister to go ahead and start the paperwork while I waited to see if a parking space would open. Within minutes a space opened and I parked. The office staff is rude and Dr. Sherick doesn't take the time to listen to you.
I just called to confirm my appt for Dec 3. Was informed that the appt was made in error and canceled without notifying me. Due to many changes in appt times in 2 years Dr Sherick 'Does not want to see you anymore' exact words from office staff.
I've been seeing Dr. Sherick for almost 2 years. He's very kind. He doesn't diddle-dally around, so he may come off harsh; however, he is very understanding. I would definitely recommend him.
office staff very rude, it is very difficult to get anyone to answer the phone. Dr. Sherick spends all of 10 minutes with my son and just writes prescriptions.
Dr. Sherick is very knowledgable and helpful. I would recommend him to others dealing with pain and depression. His office staff is nice.
