Dr. Banwait has been my gastroenterologist for approximately three years and has consistently provided exceptional care throughout that time. Both Dr. Banwait and his team demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and a genuine commitment to their patients’ well-being.
My wife and I visited in October. They requested we pay $75 that day and leave a post dated check for $75 for the remainder. A few weeks later I noticed the check wasn't cash so I inquired about it and was told insurance covered it, we owe nothing, and check will be ripped up. Months later in the middle of December one of the checks was suddenly cashed. I called and was told they have no record of a payment from us and that we owe nothing. Doctor was good, but office is awful. Overcharged us after insurance covered it all. Said they didn't even though bank shows they did, and over drafted our account. Constantly having issues with the office not knowing what they are doing and causing problems. Be a lot less stressful to find a doctor with a descent office staff. Don't leave predated checks there.
