During my stay at Cedar Creek in October of 2024, I was terrified to talk to Dr. Mlak because every time I did, he either tried to push on a ton of different medications on me or threaten to extend my discharge date because I was “asking too many questions” if you value your mental health and peace don’t go to him, he’ll push you to be dependent on meds and abuse you.
Copied and pasted from a review for his place of work, Havewnwyck: "Doctor Krzysztof Mlak was a total blockhead. He just kept escalating the dosages and adding more medication. I could hardly think, speak, or stand because of the pills. Though I had never been violent, his main goal seemed to be restraining me. The guy clearly lacked awareness of any pain he caused, and appeared incapable of sympathizing or relating to others. He’s a hollow charlatan." I was immediately misdiagnosed as psychotic/schizophrenic and put on multiple side effect-ridden neuroleptic medications. When they didn't work, Dr. Mlak switched me to even stronger antipsychotics. All of these drugs worsened my anxiety and depression to the point where I felt dead inside. In addition, I developed an irreversible movement disorder. Unfortunately now I can add PTSD to my list of ailments. Real "stabilized", right? Go to any doctor besides this quack.
