Dealing with this office and surgeon has been anything but what you would expect from a professional establishment. Getting someone to answer the phone is impossible no matter what department you call or the messages you leave. They won’t even call you back to reschedule an appointment that would mean more money for the practice. I’ve went for an appointment to see my after surgery imaging and the images couldn’t be found. I had a great experience with Dr. Wheeler and his team when I broke my ankle a couple years ago. My knee was already bothering me then. He said he did knees, too. So Dr. Wheeler was an easy choice. It was a good experience overall. He always told me what he was going to do as we went along. His team was wonderful that way, too. Surgery on June 23, 2025 went well also. Dr. Wheeler has always been open about his procedures. He explains everything to the patient about his proses on surgery. I had knee surgery preformed on my right knee. I've been steadily getting worse for over three years. I elected to get the knee replacement. The staff at his office and the hospital were all outstanding. I recently had hip replacement surgery and can highly recommend Dr. Wheeler without any hesitation. The whole experience was very positive, starting with pre-op, the day of surgery, and post-op. Dr. Wheeler takes plenty of time to explain the surgical procedure, and you never feel rushed when you are with him. His entire staff is great, and I love that he performs his surgeries in Demorest.
