He is the most sought-after, highly skilled eye surgeon in the S.F. Bay area (and beyond). His kind and gentle manner speaks volumes about his patient satisfaction. Besides regular check-ups, I have had occasion at least 4 times to need an office appointment ASAP; he has always agreed to see me in a timely manner.

Dr. Barsoumian is professional and personable. His examinations are thorough and methodical. The surgical procedure he performed on me restored my eyesight. In my opinion---nothing short of a miracle! Follow up visits were helpful and reassuring. His staff is friendly and helpful. The environment is sanitized and safe.

My appointment was strange. His office was messy and dusty. He did not wash hands. About dry eye, he said there were "no types"and "no tests" and I was "ridiculous" because I refused Restasis Rx. He got upset during my eye exam when I told him I did not want to proceed with vision determination for glasses since I wasn't interested in getting glasses. An assistant with a question came to the door and he left the exam room and never returned. I waited for 35-minutes then left.

My entire family and myself have been patients of Dr. Barsouvian for many many years. The office is always clean, the staff is friendly and always helpful. Doctor has always diagnosed and treated our eye needs with the upmost respect & professionalism. Appointments are usually available to fit my schedule. I am seen on time but occasionally the wait time is a little long. The reason for the wait is caused by an emergency situation. I will continue to recommend him to family and friends!
