I went to Dr Economopoulos for a routine upper hamstring reattachment surgery. He was very nice and reassuring at the initial consultation. After the surgery he had missed my hamstring and instead severed my sciatic nerve AND then stapled it to where the hamstring was to be attached. My leg is paralyzed and I I deal with constant nerve pain. For the rest of my life, I will need a brace just to be able to walk Oh, and he never said sorry or admitted making a mistake.

If your back hurts, go somewhere else! He’ll tell you it’s your hips. He’ll tell you that you need this surgery and when it’s all said and done you’ll be fine. Long story short you’ll end up with four hip’s surgeries ending in a hip replacement and you’ll still have back problems this dude is a joke and has zero clue on how to help people, only in it for the dollar bills, does care about how you feel at all. I pray for his patience

I had been to several hip docs trying to figure out what was causing an intense, non-stop pain in my right hip. He was finally the one to figure out what my issue was. We had surgery to fix my torn labrum and I immediately felt better. I appreciate his work so much that now that I have another issue I am seeking him out again because I know I can trust his knowledge and his work. I know I’m in great hands with Dr. Ecco.

After years of living with hip pain I underwent hip arthroscopic surgery and labral tendon repair. I am very pleased with the results. Dr. Economopoulos and his staff at the Mayo did a great job. Immediately after the surgery and beyond I felt relieved of the constant ache in my hip. My PT and I have followed Dr. E's physical therapy instructions and it's been going extremely well. Follow up visits with Dr. E and his P.A. were very professional, informational and friendly. Glad I choose Dr. E for the procedure.
