Having hernia complications from a surgery he preformed, wanted to do a follow up as PCP recommended so I set an appointment for his office in Jenks at 9:00am I got the at 8:45 was seen promptly but all they did was tell me there's nothing they can do until my cirrhosis gets better, (I was told cirrhosis doesn't get better) and they could drain my ascites but it will just come back so no point there. Dr. Dorsey is an excellent physician. He LISTENED to my concern. He validated his diagnosis. Above that he FIXED my problem that I had struggled with for 2 years!
Dr. Dorsey is great surgeon. He generally cares about his patients and listens to their concerns. I had part of a pinecone in my foot. When he initially examined my foot, he recommended I have minor surgery to remove the piece. When I went for the surgery, he determined that it was working itself out or dissolving. He then recommended that we not attempt to remove it. Very professional — did not go forward with the surgery just to make money. He did what was best for me, not for his pocketbook. Dr Dorsey did a great job with my recent umbilical hernia surgery. Once in surgery he found additional areas that needed repair besides the obvious one hernia visible from the outside. He & his team have been professional, kind, & courteous through my whole process. Highly recommend him.
He is an amazing surgeon. We are very thankful for his time and work. He is very attentive and was great at explaining every step of the process. My husband recover very well after both surgeries that where taken care by Dr. Dorsey.
